Wildwood began as a small, vegetarian deli in 1978 in San Francisco. It
developed into the leading premier natural and organic tofu and flavored
tofu company on the West Coast and recently expanding into dairy
alternative soy products. Its founders remain supporters of the business
still today.
At
Horizon™ we are committed to supporting the health of families and our
planet with delicious, innovative, responsibly produced organic and
natural dairy foods.
Founded in 1991, Horizon is a pioneer in the organic industry, and we
were the first company to supply organic milk nationally. We are proud
to work with more than 500 organic family farms across the country. We
are now expanding into natural foods as we continue our dedication to
providing healthy options for families.
Why do we do what we do? Because we believe everyone should be able to
buy high-quality, great-tasting products that are produced with
integrity.

Chino Valley Ranchers has been producing quality eggs for more than 50
years. During this time we have constantly improved our ability to
achieve the highest quality egg for you, our customer. We focus a great
deal of attention on the care and feeding of our flocks. Our aim is to
keep our chickens healthy, happy, and stress-free.

Nourishing, healthy foods can help change your life—and our world.
That's the spirit that launched Silk
Soymilk more than three decades ago. Silk has changed a lot since those
early days. Launched in 1978, Silk
was first embraced as a surprisingly delicious “health food” by the
tofu-and-granola crowd in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado. In a few
short years, we grew to become
America's #1 soymilk brand, welcomed in refrigerators across the
country. Today, Silk fans come from every walk of life—from serious
athletes looking for
powerful
nutrition to everyday folk who just love the
taste.
But no matter why you choose it, our soymilk remains as good for you as
ever—simple, wholesome and nourishing as nature intended.
We've known from the start that changing the world takes more than great
taste and nutrition, so we've always tried hard to be good neighbors,
too. We began by supporting our local Community Food Share—and we still
do. But as Silk has grown, so has our definition of neighborhood,
expanding to touch the communities across the country in which we do
business and the environment we all share.
From our support of
renewable energy
to our commitment to
responsible
soybean sourcing, we recognize that every business decision
we make has a significant community impact. Our goal: to leave a legacy
we can all feel good about.
So
why buy Brown Cow now? Simply put, it’s a product you can feel good
about. We start by using milk from carefully selected local herds whose
cows are noted for their rich, high protein milk. These family farmers
have pledged not to treat their cows with rBGH, artificial bovine growth
hormone. In addition to supporting local family farms, we also work to
support the environment by donating 10 percent of our annual profits to
environmental causes.
Most important, however, is the taste! To make a genuinely natural
yogurt, we never use preservatives or artificial ingredients. Even
though people know us best for our original Cream Top yogurt, rest
assured every batch of all of our super-premium yogurts adheres to
special recipes and is given meticulous attention. The end result is a
wide selection of rich, creamy and positively delicious—and entirely
healthy—yogurts.
Today, we still make our yogurt in small batches, using only the
freshest, most wholesome natural ingredients, including milk from local
dairy farms here in Northern California.

The Greek Gods Greek Yogurts are traditional Greek Yogurts containing
only quality ingredients, unique and ethnic varieties, and healthy
probiotics for health living. Greek Gods All Natural Greek yogurts
embody a wonderful creamy taste and mouth appeal. Our yogurts contain 5
Live and Active Cultures (including Probiotics), rbst/rbgh free milk,
natural juices, and a thick and creamy consistency that will keep you
coming back for more. Currently, the Greek Gods offer Traditional Plain,
Honey Flavored, Nonfat Plain, Pomegranate, and Fig varieties of yogurt
in 6 oz Grab and Go, and 24 oz family sizes.

Mountain High’s founders already knew what a big difference the right
cultures make. Since their first batch to this very day, Mountain High
has always used live, active, and probiotic cultures. Anyone can put the
two yoghurt starter cultures (L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus) in
milk. But the three
live, active, and
probiotic cultures we’ve always added (L. acidophilus, B.
bifidus, and L. casei) make a huge difference. Besides making the
yoghurt thick, creamy, rich, and tasty, these cultures offer numerous
health benefits.
Our founders quickly discerned that the best cultures came from the
well-established culture houses in Europe. We still get our cultures
from these premium suppliers today. Since these cultures are also
naturally present in your body, daily servings of Mountain High Yoghurt
can help populate your digestive system with beneficial or “friendly”
bacteria that boost immunity, aid digestion, and support your overall
wellness.
We carry a selection of these fine specialty, local,
natural, and organic companies:

That's the Full Circle promise.
Whether
it’s a Black Bean Enchilada, Veggie Pot Pie, Lentil Soup, or Vegetable
Lasagna, people love the organic convenience foods created by Amy’s
Kitchen. Here are some reasons why:
It’s delicious and it tastes homemade!
Amy’s food tastes so good because it’s made from the kind of real food
ingredients that people use in their own kitchens…no additives, no
preservatives, no GMOs. If a child can’t pronounce it, you won’t find it
on an Amy’s label. The cooking methods are like those used at home or in
fine restaurants. For mashed potato dishes, fresh potatoes are cooked
and mashed instead of being prepared with dehydrated flakes. Pizza
crusts are shaped by hand. Sauces and gravies are made the old fashioned
way, starting with a roux.
It’s made from organic ingredients.
Fruits, vegetables and grains are grown organically, the way nature
intended food to grow, without the use of insecticides and other harmful
chemicals. This benefits the growers, the consumers, and the
environment.
Everything is vegetarian.
No meat, fish, poultry or eggs are used in any product. Cheeses are made
with pasteurized rBST hormone free milk and do not contain animal
enzymes or rennet.
You’ll never get bored.
We have a large selection of meals! In this section, you will find
quickly prepared fast food items from pockets, veggie burgers, pizzas
and burritos to complete meals like Country Dinner and Enchilada Whole
Meals. Some are gourmet, some just plain “down-home cooking.”
Special Diet? No problem:
Amy’s makes several products for people with special dietary
restrictions. For those who cannot tolerate wheat, Amy’s offers over 50
no-gluten-added offerings. For the lactose intolerant and those who
prefer not to eat dairy, there are more than 50 non-dairy/lactose free,
cholesterol free dishes from which to choose.

family supervising every aspect of the business and taking pride in
customer satisfaction. The family tastes all dishes regularly to ensure
that each product is of the highest quality.

In
1961, when Russel W. Knudsen began bottling fruit juices from his
organic grape vineyard, he did so on one condition: his fresh pressed
and blended juices would never have artificial flavors, preservatives or
sugar added to them. This commitment ensured that customers who came up
the hill to Knudsen's Paradise, California, Concord grape vineyard could
always buy the finest juice available. Little did the R.W. Knudsen
Family® know, he was starting a tradition of innovation in
health-conscious products.
The R.W. Knudsen Family® tradition of integrity, innovation and variety
continues today. The company's commitment to developing health-conscious
fruit products based on consumers' needs has led to the introduction of
many refreshing ideas.

Contrary to popular belief, Briannas incredibly delicious salad
dressings aren’t the result of some mysterious culinary genius named
"Brianna" who works in a secret location making her special dressings
one bottle at a time. No, our story is much simpler and straightforward
than that. But, the results taste as if there is indeed some mysterious
magic at work!
Founded over 25 years ago in central Texas as the Del Sol Food Company,
BRIANNAS Salad Dressings grew out of a desire to create a superior
product with family pride and consistent high quality. Named after the
owner’s daughter Marianne and grandson Brian, BRIANNAS has grown to
become one of the most popular and sought-after salad dressings in the
world. We’ve been fortunate to receive numerous first place industry
awards for our spectacular taste, and even our packaging has been
honored for its good taste with the most prestigious award in design,
the “Clio.”
But even with all the accolades and praise, we remain a small, humble
family-owned and operated business focused on one thing and one thing
only—creating the highest quality, most delicious salad dressing
available anywhere. Our many fans the world over say we’ve succeeded.
And for that, we’re eternally grateful.

The outstanding quality of California Olive Ranch's extra virgin olive
oil is achieved by carefully crushing the olives to extract the first
juice. This raw olive juice is then smoothed and clarified by the
natural procedure of decanting. This process ensures that all the
fruit's rich flavor, healthy vitamins and antioxidants are kept at their
very best.

Arbequina – has a high
fruitiness, balanced pungency, and a very pleasing clean taste. Tasting
notes include ripe tropical fruits, apple, and fresh artichoke.
Arbosana – has fruitiness, nutty tones, and medium pungency.
Tasting notes include green tomato, almond, and green banana.
We
want a simple approach in an energy bar—not complicated formulas or
gimmicks. Don’t you? It’s just an approach that makes sense. CLIF BARS
are a great-tasting, convenient source of energy for any activity.
To perform at your best, the last thing you want to put in your body is
a synthetic product. That’s why we believe in using healthy ingredients,
such as organic rolled oats, organic roasted soybeans, organic milled
flaxseed and organic soy flour. All CLIF BAR flavors are made with 70%
organic ingredients.

AT "DIRTY'S" WE DON'T WASH OUT THE
NATURAL POTATO FLAVOR,
SO OUR CHIPS ARE CRUNCHIER AND TASTIER.
|

In
1982, the Kettle Foods community was born. And the first natural,
hand-cooked potato chip was introduced to the Western US. Using only
premium Russet potatoes grown on local Pacific Northwest farms, the
Kettle™ brand Chip is a perfect blend of natural flavor and hand crafted
precision, creating a distinct and unforgettable full potato taste.
Potatoes are divided into small batches, and dunked into hot, healthy,
all-natural, expeller pressed high-monounsaturated safflower and
sunflower oils. Each batch is cooked by hand, carefully tended by
experienced chip fryers who turn – literally with a tool inspired by a
garden rake – the chips for even cooking and keep watch as the Russet’s
natural sugars turn a variety of shades, from gold to rich amber. When
cooked to perfection, each batch, still hot from the fryer, makes its
way through hand inspection and in to the seasoning tumbler. There chips
are coated with just the right amount of carefully blended natural
seasonings to complement the rich taste of the Russet potato.

Maisie Jane created a unique line of flavored almonds in her family
kitchen at age 17 as a Future Farmers of America (FFA) project. Today,
she and her husband Isidro market their products nationwide. They take
pride in the fact that the almonds used are grown on their own family
farm. Having almond farming deep in Maisie Jane’s blood, four
generations deep in fact, it is a privilege to take the business one
step further. Maisie Jane explains, “It’s so rewarding to see the smiles
on the consumers' faces and to have been involved in every step along
the way to create that smile!”
Maisie Jane’s hand selects the largest, highest graded variety of
almonds. “We pick the Cream of the Crop”, Maisie Jane says. The
Nonpareil variety, (definition in Greek meaning Superior), is mostly
used in the Maisie Jane’s product line. This variety is extra sweet in
taste, crunchy, and very large in size. Maisie Jane’s natural and
certified organic products contain only pure ingredients with no
preservatives added. This also means that they are GMO free! The fact
that Maisie Jane’s entire line is dry roasted is very unique and
important. Unlike the majority of roasted flavored almonds in the
marketplace being deep-fried, our almonds are all oven roasted. This
means they are healthier, containing no added oil and being less
fattening.

Balsamic
Vinegar
Vinegar
and mulled wine have been the leading unifying elements in Italian
cuisine since the time of the ancient Romans. Balsamic vinegar from
Modena is derived from mulled wine.
Historically...
Some evidence suggests that Balsamic Vinegar, or one of its close
cousins, was used as early as the period of the Gallic Invasions of
Julius Caesar. Definitive evidence however traces it back to 1300.
In the Modena area, special vinegars have been produced for centuries,
and the environmental conditions (terrain, climate) and the grape
species are ideal for this type of product. Through the generations, the
"secret of the vinegar" was closely guarded to avoid the corruption of a
valuable product, which was used principally for holidays, gifts, and
special occasions.
Today...
Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is a fixed point in quality food and wine
connoisseurship, and its classic uses are joined by more extravagant and
leading roles. Increasing numbers of restaurant dishes are being offered
with "Balsamic Vinegar of Modena." Balsamic vinegar adds flavor and zest
to everything from salads, to stews, to sauces, to desserts. Its flavor
is extraordinary when warmed and concentrated.

We
Believe Food Should Be Food.
We
welcome all things pure and simple, wholesome and natural when it comes
to food. We stay away from ingredients we can’t read or pronounce. We
believe in making food that not only tastes delicious and reminds people
how all natural, not-messed-around-with food can be.
We Want To Know
Where Our Food Comes From.
Long before there was a USDA Organic label, we decided to come up with
our own program. In 1997 we established Certified to the Source program.
Today, we can tell you where every ingredient we use comes from. In many
cases, they came from our very own farms or farms we know very well. We
Care About How Our Food Is Grown. Delicious ingredients begin with the
soil whether it’s butternut squash or feed for our dairy cows. So, we
try to be good stewards of the land and supportive of our farmers of
ranchers we partner with and the culture of organic farming in general.
When we have quality ingredients to work with, our foods simply taste
better.
